The world faces a multitude of complex challenges, including political upheavals, humanitarian crises, ecosystem destruction, and the ongoing disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. These challenges have highlighted the critical importance of global health as an interdisciplinary field that is essential to building a sustainable, equitable, and healthy future for all.
The Monza International School of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, in collaboration with Comitato Maria Letizia Verga, has achieved great success in the field of pediatric oncology in resource-limited settings through the establishment of the Global Pediatric Medicine Center in 2018. Additionally, our leading faculty members have made significant contributions to Cardiology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Public Health, and Infectious Diseases through their work on international health cooperation projects.
Building upon these achievements, the Department of Medicine & Surgery is proud to establish the Bicocca Global Health Center. The Center leverages the expertise and knowledge of our faculty, researchers, residents, and students to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for addressing global health challenges. Our multidisciplinary approach and collaboration with our partners enable us to effectively pursue our three main strategic actions: education, research, and capacity building. Join us in making a positive impact on global health.
